Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal management of infrastructure and facilities at SMK Sehat Insan Perjuangan (SMK SIP), which is still carried out manually and causes various problems such as data loss, difficulty in tracking borrowing history, and delays in reporting processes. The purpose of this research is to design and build a web-based infrastructure and facilities information system to facilitate data collection, borrowing, returning, and reporting of school assets more efficiently and accurately. The development method used is prototype with stages of requirements gathering, prototype creation, user evaluation, to iterative system improvement. The system is built using the CodeIgniter 4 framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database, and equipped with a user-friendly interface. The system has been tested using the black-box testing method and shows that all features function properly, including login features, facility data management, borrowing records, and maintenance schedules. The implementation results show that this system can improve efficiency and accuracy in managing school facilities and simplify administration that was previously done manually.
